MEDITERRANEAN BUSHES
It is a degradation stage in which bushes and sprouts substitute an original forest with grove. Normally human action is visible or a higher or smaller scale in the form of fires or anthropic actions which eliminate the wooded area. This environment is formed by brooms, cistus, Lavandula stoechas and Quercus coccifera houses several species, such as the Red-legged Partridge, Rock Bunting, African Stonechat, Typical warbler and Shrikes.
Examples of this environment are well represented in Castilla and León, mainly in Arribes del Duero, Sierras salmantina, Sierra de Ávila and el Cerrato.
