The Association for the Development of the Arlanza Region (ADECOAR) carries out rural development projects in an area consisting of 61 municipalities. Its principal objectives are: diversification favouring non-agricultural activities; participation in the founding and development of small businesses; promotion of tourism activities; the providing of basic services for the economy and rural populations; the renovation and development of rural populations; the conservation and improvement of rural heritage; and training and education.
