FLUVIAL MEADOWS
In the proximities of the great rivers, agricultural meadows extend with irrigation crops, occupying large areas of land. This anthropic environment allows some birds to access food sources, both during breeding season as well as during migration phases.
Some of the common species found are the Black Kite, the European bee-eater, Meadow Pipit, Western Yellow Wagtail, Zitting Cisticola, Magpie, Rook, Common Starling, Eurasian Tree Sparrow, European Serin, Carduelis and Corn Bunting.
The middle sections of Esla, Duero, Pisuerga and Tormes stand out.
