Justification of our participation in the TRINO project

The important rise in nature tourism, the growing interest in birdwatching and the potential that our area has, where a variety of birds, including the significant reproductive population of the Dupont’s Lark (undoubtedly the most numerous in Castilla y León) can be found, made the ADEMA Local Action Group decide to join a project that tries to take advantage of these opportunities and resources to configure and organize an opportunity for tourists that centers on birds. The goal is also to make the population aware of and sensitive to bird-related issues, and to provide environmental education through knowledge about and respect for birds as part of our surroundings.
