The Honorse - Tierra de Pinares Association is a non-profit organisation that aims to arouse support from all actors, both public and private, to stimulate and achieve economic and sociocultural development in the region in which it operates: Tierra de Pinares in Segovia. These actors can be city governments, communities of “Villa y Tierra”, unions, cooperatives, and all types of associations (business, cultural, women’s…). The collaboration and cooperation between all of these actors corresponds to what community terminology refers to as a Local Action Group (LAG). |
From the beginning, the Association has strongly supported joining forces in one area, like the Tierra de Pinares region in Segovia, which has presented many difficulties but at the same time enormous possibilities, and it has created an Internal Potential Appreciation, necessary in order to improve the economic climate and quality of life, and also to achieve the Programme’s most important objectives: the creation of job and population maintenance.
