ADRISS

The Association for the Overall Rural Development of the Mountain Ranges of Salamanca (ADRISS, from the Spanish acronym) is a non-profit organisation that was officially formed on 10 December 2007 after a group of people representing the area decided to join forces and share their concerns in favour of the sustainable development of their area.

Our chief task is to make the rural environment a more dynamic place where we can take action that gets the population involved by supporting initiatives that generate jobs and wealth in our area, while at the same time remaining conscious of the requirement of sustainability and the use of our own resources to thus form the foundation for balanced and logical local rural development.
