OAK GROVE AND MEADOWS

The Mediterranean forest has been reduced anthropic action although it is possible to find small remnants, isolated forests, vestiges of the Iberian Forests. The pastures are ecosystems derived from these forests and are made up of tree species from the genus Quercus and a herbaceous stratum for grazing. The species belonging to this system are varied, though the most characteristic are the Short-toes Snake Eagle, the Booted Eagle, the European Roller, the Common Redstart, the Spanish Sparrow as well as Orphean and Subalpine Warblers.
