The Cuatro Valles Association is an organisation that dedicates a large amount of resources and effort to promote a more dynamic tourism industry in the regions in which it works. Just as it was manifested in the “Cuatro Valles Development Programme” that was presented to the Autonomous Community, the great tourism possibilities in our territory are based on the wealth of natural, scenic, archaeological and cultural resources that we have; these resources make up one of the principal strengths for attracting visitors and establishing itself as a significant economic alternative in the service sector. Birds are a resource that, in order to be taken advantage of in tourism, requires actions in the same direction so that our territory is an attractive destination for visitors. Also, making the population aware of the importance of respect and conservation of this heritage continues to be necessary, given that other recreational activities may be harmful for this type of tourism. For this reason, it is necessary to protect a regional birdwatching label that transforms the different territories involved into a consistent, homogeneous and interdependent offer to tourists.

Cooperation will allow for the consolidation of a product for tourists and the identificaiton of TRINO as a label of birdwatching in Castilla y León.
