Since the creation of ADECO BUREBA, its objectives have included the promotion of tourism and its nature, landscapes, and cultural and artistic heritage. Within this general objective, the development of tourism linked to nature and fauna is fundamental.

The area in which ADECO BUREBA works is the transition zone between the Cantabrian and Mediterranean regions, which favours the existence of a large variety of hábitats and therefore species of birds.

The Montes Obarenes – San Zadornil Nature Preserve is located inside the area in which ADECO BUREBA works.

The interest in promoting the area’s natural heritage, richness and variety from a birdwatching perspective and the Association’s commitment to the tourism sector (lodging, restaurants and other service establishments) are the main principles on which ADECO BUREBA’s participation in the TRINO Project is based.
